Integrated Smart Energy Project to Generate Power
Today, the whole world is facing the need to shift to alternative sources for energy. Industries have shown a significant leap in using smart energy. The smart energy system is expected to be sustainable, cost-effective, intelligent, and integrated. Thus, it is essential to move to renewable sources to fight growing environmental problems. Industries are shifting rapidly to these renewable sources, and it is the proper time for providers to address this change.
Changfeng Energy Inc. is a Canadian company which is an important distributor of natural gas to the People’s Republic of China. In 2017, Changfeng Energy Inc. decided to begin a three-year plan of shifting focus to sustainable energy. It aimed to become an integrated energy provider in PRC by supplying natural gas and sustainable energy. Previously, government guidelines propelled the Chinese economy to move from fossil fuel. To meet this need, Changfeng decided to move to sustainable energy and clean technology, and it announced its integrated smart energy project. Integrated smart energy project ensured the combination of multiple clean energy sources to generate power. They were intended to include the solar, hydro, electricity, natural gas, and thermal energy in this combination. This use of multiple sources in a single system enabled the company to supply energy depending on the geography and weather condition of an area. Sustainable sources empowered the company to achieve efficiency cost-effectively.
The company is dealing with three different projects. It is maintaining a station to refuel vehicle by using CNG. This CNG refueling retail station is at Changsha City, Hunan Province, China. The other two projects are of natural gas distribution. Changfeng has a right to conduct the gas distribution business in Sanya city for 30 years and in Xiangdong District, Pingxiang City, and Jiangxi Province it will be able to maintain this business for 50 years. The company made an agreement with the brick manufacturer for supplying liquefied natural gas (“LNG”).
Changfeng has recently made an announcement that with its joint venture company EDF Changfeng (Sanya) Energy Co Ltd., it is going to lead the Haitang Bay Integrated Smart Energy project company to a new height. Sanya Haitang Bay Editon Hotel has become its first client. They have signed a centralized cooling service contract. Under this contract, EDF Changfeng will make a supply of cooling to the Editon hotel for one year. The cooling capacity will be fixed to 4,109 kWr per year. According to the contract, the commencement of the supply will vary depending on the construction of the first energy station.
